Interest rates on Hong Kong dollars are developing individually, with two consecutive monthly declines.

On April 16th, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates saw some individual developments but no major changes. The overnight rate rose by about 6 basis points to 3.09857%, while the one-month rate related to property mortgages continued to decline for the second day, reaching 3.58381%, the lowest since April 11th. The three-month interbank interest rate, reflecting the cost of bank funds, further dropped to 3.85536%, while the six-month and one-year rates remained unchanged at 3.9% and 4% respectively.
