The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued the latest announcement on the evening of the 11th, regarding the implementation of equivalent tariff measures under Executive Order 14257, announcing a list of products and customs guidelines that are explicitly excluded.
According to the Cargo Information System Message Service (CSMS #64724565) announcement, CBP has explicitly stated that products correctly classified under the listed Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) numbers and subnumbers are eligible for the exclusion of equivalent tariffs. According to the memorandum, these products will no longer be subject to the additional country-specific tariff rates implemented under Executive Order 14257 (published on April 2, 2025). This measure will take effect from 12:01 am Eastern Time on April 5, 2025.
