Compared with February 2025, there was an increase of 67,000 public charging stations in March, a year-on-year growth of 34.1%. By March 2025, the member units of the alliance had reported a total of 3.9 million public charging stations, including 1.785 million DC charging stations and 2.114 million AC charging stations. From April 2024 to March 2025, an average of about 83,000 public charging stations were added per month. In terms of the operation of public charging infrastructure by provinces, regions and cities, the top 10 regions with public charging stations that were built included Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Hubei, Sichuan, and Beijing, accounting for 67.9%. The majority of charging electricity in the country was concentrated in provinces such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Henan, and Shaanxi. The electricity flow mainly comes from buses and private cars, with a small proportion coming from sanitation logistics vehicles, taxis, and other types of vehicles. In March 2025, the total electricity consumption for charging nationwide was approximately 5.87 billion kWh, a decrease of 350 million kWh from the previous month but an increase of 55.1% year-on-year. Regarding the operation of public charging infrastructure operators, by March 2025, the top 15 charging station operators in the country were: TELD operating 746,000 stations, Star Charge operating 659,000 stations, YK Charge operating 613,000 stations, Xiaoju Charge operating 231,000 stations, UJ Cloud operating 215,000 stations, State Grid operating 196,000 stations, Luchong Charge operating 116,000 stations, Shenzhen Power Grid operating 94,000 stations, Southern Power Grid operating 90,000 stations, Hui Charging operating 90,000 stations, EvEnergy operating 79,000 stations, WanCheng WanChong operating 55,000 stations, Blue Quick Charge operating 52,000 stations, Kunlun Networks Electric operating 50,000 stations, and Jun Yue Charge operating 47,000 stations. These 15 operators accounted for 85.5% of the total, while the remaining operators accounted for 14.5%. In terms of the overall operation of the charging infrastructure, from January to March 2025, the increase in charging infrastructure was 931,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 30.1%. Among them, the increase in public charging stations was 321,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 75.3%, while the increase in private charging stations was 611,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%.
