China Construction Machinery Industry Association: In March, sales of all types of excavators reached 29,590 units, an increase of 18.5% year-on-year.

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on the main manufacturing enterprises of excavators, in March 2025, sales of all types of excavators reached 29,590 units, an increase of 18.5% year-on-year. Of these, domestic sales reached 19,517 units, a year-on-year increase of 28.5%, while exports amounted to 10,073 units, a year-on-year increase of 2.87%. From January to March, a total of 61,372 excavators were sold, an increase of 22.8% year-on-year. Domestic sales reached 36,562 units, a year-on-year increase of 38.3%, while exports reached 24,810 units, a year-on-year increase of 5.49%. In March 2025, sales of electric excavators reached 15 units (3 units below 6 tons, 1 unit between 10 and 18.5 tons, 9 units between 18.5 and 28.5 tons, and 2 units above 40 tons). According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on the main manufacturing enterprises of loaders, in March 2025, sales of all types of loaders reached 13,917 units, an increase of 12.9% year-on-year. Domestic sales amounted to 8,168 units, a year-on-year increase of 23.2%, while exports reached 5,749 units, a year-on-year increase of 0.95%. From January to March 2025, a total of 30,567 loaders were sold, an increase of 14.8% year-on-year. Domestic sales reached 16,379 units, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%, while exports reached 14,188 units, a year-on-year increase of 5.21%. In March 2025, sales of electric loaders reached 2,802 units (23 units below 3 tons, 56 units of 3 tons, 1816 units of 5 tons, 772 units of 6 tons, 129 units of 7 tons, 4 units of 8 tons, and 2 units of skid steer loaders).
