PEIJIA-B (09996) announced that on April 2, 2025, the company completed the first patient treatment in the first human clinical trial of the ReachTactile Siasun Robot & Automation-assisted transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) system. The surgery was completed by Professor Wang Yan and his team from the Xiamen University Affiliated Cardiovascular Hospital, using the ReachTactile Siasun Robot & Automation-assisted TAVR system to implant the TaurusElite transcatheter aortic valve for a patient with severe aortic valve stenosis. ReachTactile is an internally developed Siasun Robot & Automation-assisted TAVR system that provides innovative, cost-effective solutions for TAVR treatment. Its modular mobile design is compatible with traditional vascular interventional catheterization rooms, allowing a cardiac specialist to operate multiple instruments with sub-millimeter precision. Its force feedback mechanism provides real-time tactile feedback, assisting in navigating instruments in complex vascular conditions. The master-slave control layout effectively reduces occupational health risks such as radiation exposure for the operator. Moreover, the Ethernet-based remote control function enables cross-geographical surgical operations and training.
