US Stock Market Move | Aviation and cruise stocks plummet, United Airlines (UAL.US) falls over 10%

On Friday, airline and cruise stocks followed the sharp drop in the overall market. The S&P 1500 Airlines Index fell 6.8%, hitting a new low in over seven months. At the time of writing, United Airlines (UAL.US) dropped more than 10%, Delta Air Lines, Inc. (DAL.US) fell over 6.4%, Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL.US) dropped over 7.6%, Carnival Corporation (CCL.US), and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH.US) fell over 7%. On the news front, US President Trump just told investors he believes are investing in the US that his policies will never change as global stock markets plummet. In a post on his social media platform, he wrote in capital letters: "For many investors who are entering the United States and investing a large amount of money, my policies will never change. The Hershey Company is a case in point, (investing in the US) will be wealthier than ever before!!"
