CH ENERGY ENG (03996) signed the Astana City Water Supply Project contract with Astana City Capital Water Company.

CH ENERGY ENG (03996) announced recently that its subsidiary China Gezhouba Group Corporation Limited, as the general contractor, has signed a contract with Astana City Capital Water Supply Company for the Astana City Water Supply Project. The contract amount is approximately 65.12 billion tenge, equivalent to about 960 million yuan. The project is located in the southeast of Astana City, Kazakhstan. The project includes the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of a 342,000 m3/day water intake pump station, two booster pump stations, approximately 400 km of water transmission pipelines, and a 210,000 m3/day water treatment plant. The total construction period of the project is approximately 36 months.
