Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (688599.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (Changzhou) Technology Limited Company (referred to as "Tianneng Technology"), intends to jointly invest with Zhejiang Yuanche Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Zhejiang Yuanche") to establish a joint venture company. Zhejiang Yuanche is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xingyuan Investment Development Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Xingyuan Investment"), which is controlled by the actual controller of the company, Gao Jifan. The registered capital of the joint venture company is expected to be no more than 150 million RMB. Tianneng Technology intends to invest up to 90 million RMB from its own funds, accounting for 60% of the registered capital of the joint venture company. The establishment of the joint venture company is based on the company's future development strategic plan, focusing on investment in new technologies and intellectual property rights of the new generation smart energy systems, and actively deploying cutting-edge technologies to support the company's long-term development.
