UBS Group AG (UBS.US) appoints new global head of investment management.

According to reports, UBS Group AG (UBS.US) has appointed Solita Marcelli as the Americas chief investment officer, replacing Bruno Marxer as the head of global investment management. Solita Marcelli will assume this role, which will expand from July 1st to include the Americas, Asia Pacific, Switzerland and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. Reports indicate that Marxer has decided to retire at the end of the first quarter of 2026, and he will continue in his role until June 30th to ensure a seamless transition. The reports also show that Ulrike Hoffmann-Burchardi will assume the role of chief investment officer of the Americas as of July 1st, while also maintaining her current position as the chief investment officer for global equities.
