Turkey increased the foreign travel tax by 40.8% to 1000 lira.

According to a decree published in the Official Gazette of Turkey, the fee that Turkish citizens must pay when leaving the country has been raised from 710 lira to 1000 lira. This fee, which is required for each outbound trip, was last raised in January of this year, when the fee was adjusted to 710 lira.
