China Mobile and China Unicom have successively launched centralized procurement of computing power servers, marking the fierce competition among the three major carriers in the field of computing power. According to data, the current intelligent computing scale of the three major carriers has exceeded 100 EFLOPS, covering multiple key cities in China. Carriers are accelerating the application of AI technology in areas such as mines, farmlands, inspections, medical care, and urban governance, pushing business transformation and revenue growth through large models and AI intelligent bodies. In the first half of this year, both China Mobile and China Telecom achieved tens of billions of yuan in AI revenue, with AI application monetization becoming a key indicator of successful transformation.
