Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese sovereign bond yields fell by more than 8 basis points this week.
This week, the yield on French 10-year government bonds fell by 6.4 basis points, closing at 3.448% in the European market on Friday. On September 2, it had risen to 3.610%. The yield on French 2-year government bonds fell by 2.9 basis points to 2.170%, while the yield on 30-year government bonds fell by 4.7 basis points to 4.376%.
Italian 10-year government bond yields fell by 8.3 basis points to 3.504%, after reaching 3.659% on September 3. Spanish 10-year government bond yields fell by 7.7 basis points to 3.253%, and Greek 10-year government bond yields fell by 5.9 basis points to 3.359%.
