President Trump posted on social media that Europe once again 'attacked' American exceptional companies today - imposing a $35 billion fine on Google. This money, which could have been invested in the United States and created jobs, has been forcibly taken away. This fine is extremely unfair on top of the numerous fines and taxes imposed on Google and other American technology companies! American taxpayers will never tolerate this behavior. As I have emphasized before, this administration will not tolerate this discriminatory behavior. Take Apple, for example, they were forced to pay a $170 billion fine - in my opinion, this fine should not even exist, they should recover it! We must not allow this unfair treatment against America's exceptional innovation to continue. If the situation does not change, I will be forced to initiate the 301 provision process to revoke these unfair penalties imposed on American taxpayers.
