Yuekai Securities, Chief Economist and Dean of the Research Institute Luo Zhiheng said that the recent introduction of childcare subsidies means that fiscal policy is more focused on the household sector, and there will be further actions in the future in areas related to people's livelihoods such as pensions and healthcare. For example, the current level of pensions for urban and rural residents is still not high enough, at just over 200 yuan per month. In the future, it can be gradually increased to the level of subsistence allowance, which is 600 yuan per month for rural areas and 800 yuan per month for urban areas.
