Kazakhstan denies reports of an increase in oil production in August.
The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan stated that in August, the country's daily oil production decreased by 48,000 barrels compared to the previous month, to 1.712 million barrels. The Ministry of Energy stated in a statement: "The Ministry of Energy denies the claims of some media that the country's oil production in August increased compared to the previous month." Earlier, Reuters reported, citing sources, that Kazakhstan's oil production had increased by 2%, exceeding the quota stipulated by the OPEC+ agreement for August.
