According to China Export Credit Insurance Corporation, in the first half of this year, the company effectively expanded the coverage of export credit insurance, with underwritten amounts reaching 565.6 billion US dollars, an increase of 13.5% compared to the same period last year; serving 223,000 customers, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year. In the first half of this year, China Export Credit Insurance Corporation made efforts to explore diversified markets, supporting exports and investments to countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative with 241.3 billion US dollars; increasing policy financing and credit enhancement support, achieving a credit enhancement underwriting amount of 140.7 billion US dollars for short-term insurance, a 5% increase year-on-year. China Export Credit Insurance Corporation stated that this year, the company has implemented two rounds of special support measures to help foreign trade enterprises stabilize orders, expand markets, compensate losses, and increase confidence, further playing a countercyclical adjustment role. In the next step, the company will continue to fulfill its policy functions, fully utilize the role of export credit insurance, and contribute to the expansion of high-level opening up to the outside world.
