At a press conference held by the State Administration for Market Regulation today, it was learned that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China has taken on 26 new roles as secretariats of technical organizations in key areas such as high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing in international standardization organizations. Chinese experts have taken on 30 new roles as chairs of technical organizations and 486 new roles as conveners of international standard revision working groups. In fields such as new energy vehicles, new power systems, and aerospace, China has put forward 880 new international standard proposals and has led the development of 532 international standards. At the same time, efforts are being made to promote the compatibility of domestic and international standard systems, with 4,210 advanced and applicable international standards being transformed into Chinese standards, and the conversion rate of key areas' international standards exceeding 90%.
