Our country plans to impact one asteroid.

The 3rd International Conference on Deep Space Exploration has just concluded in Hefei, Anhui. Wu Weiren, the chief designer of China's Lunar Exploration Program and director of the Deep Space Exploration Laboratory, introduced that in the near future, China will carry out a kinetic impact verification mission on a small asteroid to assess its defense effectiveness through observation, impact, and joint monitoring. Near-Earth asteroids are one of the most potentially threatening celestial bodies in the solar system, with a very low probability of impacting Earth but with enormous destructive power.
