General Administration of Customs issued an announcement regarding the declaration requirements for the commodity number of single-mode optical fiber with relevant cutoff wavelength displacement.

Recently, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 48 of 2025, deciding that starting from September 4, 2025, applicable anti-circumvention measures will be applied to imported non-dispersive shifted single-mode optical fibers originating from the United States. The current anti-dumping tax rate applicable to imported non-dispersive shifted single-mode optical fibers originating from the United States will be applied to imported related single-mode optical fibers with a cutoff wavelength from the United States. In order to implement the above anti-circumvention measures in accordance with the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the specific requirements for declaring the relevant product numbers are hereby announced based on the applicable anti-circumvention measures specified in Announcement No. 48 of 2025 by the Ministry of Commerce. When declaring imported related single-mode optical fibers with a cutoff wavelength, the commodity number should be filled in as 90011000.01. This announcement shall take effect from September 4, 2025.
