Semiconductor ETF fell by 1.3%, leading the decline among US industry ETFs, while the S&P real estate sector dropped by more than 1.7%.
On Tuesday, the semiconductor ETF fell by 1.31%, while the global technology stock index ETF and the technology sector ETF also dropped by over 1.0%. The internet stock index ETF fell by 0.97%, while the banking ETF, consumer discretionary ETF, financial ETF, and regional bank ETF all fell by at least 0.66%. The healthcare ETF and energy ETF, on the other hand, saw gains of up to 0.14%, while the biotechnology index ETF rose by 1.58%. Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500 index, the real estate sector fell by 1.74%, while the energy sector rose by 0.23%.
