President of Congo, Sassou, arrived in Beijing by plane and will attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the victory in the war of resistance.

On the morning of September 2nd, President Sassou of the Congo arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport by plane, and will attend the 80th anniversary commemoration of the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese aggression and the world anti-fascist war victory. President Sassou has visited China 17 times, including attending the Third Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit and the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. Over 60 years ago, Sassou also visited China as one of the Congo's first young visitors. China and the Congo have a comprehensive strategic partnership.
