On the morning of August 29, 2025, during the China International Big Data Industry Expo, the "Gathering Computing Power, Shaping the Future of Intelligence" exchange event was held in Guiyang. Xia Bing, member of the Party Group of the National Data Bureau and Deputy Director, pointed out that the "East Calculation, West Data" project has driven social investment to over ten trillion, and the synergistic effect of eight major computing hubs, as well as the stimulating effect on economic and social development, continue to become more prominent. He proposed three considerations for deepening the construction of computing power infrastructure in order to better support economic and social development and promote the advancement of artificial intelligence technology in the future. Firstly, adhere to forward-looking planning and promote the utilization of computing facilities for long-term benefits.
