On the morning of August 29, 2025, during the China International Big Data Industry Expo, the "Computing Power Convergence and Intelligent Future" exchange event was held in Guiyang. Xu Qiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the National Information Center, pointed out that the construction of computing power infrastructure will present five characteristics: the first is the "agglomeration" of smart computing construction, achieving the aggregation of diverse chip resources to make up for the insufficient performance of a single card. The second is the "collaboration" of regional layout, promoting the dynamic balance and efficient dispatch of computing power resources in different regions. The third is the "green" development of computing power, fully leveraging China's advantages in green electricity resources and strengthening the coordination between computing and electricity. The fourth is the "inclusive" supply of computing power, continuously reducing the cost and threshold of computing power use. The fifth is the "internationalization" of computing power services, continuously innovating the cross-border "investment-construction-operation" cooperation mechanism for computing power facilities.
