Yesterday, our country's first set of electric carbon collaborative operation system went online for trial operation, realizing real-time linkage and optimization scheduling of electricity, computing power, and carbon emissions, which will help data centers save energy, reduce carbon emissions, and increase efficiency. This electric carbon collaborative operation system integrates the three networks of "power grid, computing network, and communication network". When cheaper electricity prices appear in the western region, the system will automatically schedule computing tasks such as 3D rendering and large model training to the computing power nodes in the west; when there is sufficient wind power, solar power, and other new energy generation, the system will concentrate on using green electricity to support computing tasks.
