The Min River experienced the first flood of 2025.

According to the news from the Sichuan Province Water Resources Department, at 7:00 on August 29, the water level at the Pengshan Hydrometric Station on the main stream of the Minjiang River was 423.25m, with a corresponding flow rate of 9570m3/s, reaching the standard for a flood with the designation of No.1 in 2025 on the Minjiang River. Currently, the water level in the Pengshan section of the Minjiang River is still rising. Around 11:10 on the 29th, the peak water level reached 423.48m, which is 0.12m lower than the warning level, with a peak flow rate of 10200m3/s.
