On Wednesday in New York, spot gold rose 0.09% to $3396.50 per ounce in late trading, showing a W-shaped reversal trend throughout the day. COMEX gold futures rose 0.51% to $3450.60 per ounce. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index fell 0.30% to 2433.32 points, moving away from its all-time high. Spot silver fell 0.07% to $38.5833 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures rose 0.17% to $38.670 per ounce. COMEX copper futures fell 1.10% to $4.4210 per pound. Spot platinum fell 0.43% to $1349.34 per ounce, and spot palladium fell 0.75% to $1093.56 per ounce.
