Spot gold rose more than 0.7%, Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index rose more than 1.9% to reach a new record high.

On Tuesday, New York's closing bell, spot gold rose 0.76% to $3391.35 per ounce. At 8:00 AM Beijing time, there was a significant rally - rising from around $3350 to above $3385. COMEX gold futures rose 0.65% to $3439.60 per ounce, trading between $3396.10 and $3440.80 during the day. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index rose 1.94% to 244.06 points, hitting a new closing high.
