Affected by the U.S. tariff policy, Australia and Japan have joined European countries in temporarily suspending the sending of some postal parcels to the United States. Australia Post announced on August 26 that, starting from that day, it would suspend sending postal parcels to the United States, with the exception of gifts, letters, and documents valued at less than $100. Australia Post explained that, with "regret," due to the complex and rapidly changing situation, they had to do so before finding a feasible solution for their customers. Japan Post announced on the 25th that, starting from the 27th, it would suspend sending individual gifts and consumer goods valued over $100 to the United States, while letters, postcards, and individual gifts under $100 could still be sent.
