The first photon counting energy spectrum CT in China has been approved for market launch.

According to the official website of the National Medical Products Administration, on August 26, uCT Ultima, China's first photon counting energy spectrum CT scanner independently developed by United Imaging Healthcare, has officially been approved for market launch by the National Medical Products Administration. This is another major breakthrough achieved in the field of medical technology in China, and a significant progress made in the project "Development of Photon Counting Energy Spectrum CT" under the key special project "Diagnosis and Treatment Equipment and Biomedical Materials" of the Ministry of Science and Technology during the 14th Five-Year Plan in China. With this achievement, United Imaging Healthcare has become the first Chinese company to successfully commercialize photon counting energy spectrum CT globally.
