The China Securities Regulatory Commission issued the "Provisions on the Classification and Evaluation of Securities Companies" on August 22. Industry insiders believe that the revised evaluation methods are beneficial for correcting industry positioning, guiding securities companies to focus on high-quality development, placing more emphasis on operational efficiency and quality, and gradually shifting from size orientation to value creation. At the same time, by increasing the cost of violations, effectively deterring major illegal activities of securities companies, enhancing market fairness, and forming a virtuous cycle of "compliance-rating-business".
