Idris emphasized that achieving peace is the government's top priority, with the door to dialogue open, but the Sudanese government does not accept any imposed peace. He also stated that another major responsibility of the government is to ensure the basic public service needs of the people. He emphasized that "citizens come first" is the principle of the new government, and government agencies are expected to return to the capital Khartoum for work by the end of October or November this year.
