Swift report: By July 2025, the global share of RMB payments is 2.88%.

The monthly report and data statistics on Renminbi released by the Global Bank Financial Communications Association on August 21st show that in July 2025, in the global payment currency ranking based on amount, the Renminbi maintained its position as the sixth largest and most active currency in the world, accounting for 2.88%. Compared with June 2025, the total amount of Renminbi payments increased by 5.82%, while the total amount of all currency payments increased by 5.99%. In July 2025, based on international payments outside the euro area as the statistical basis, the Renminbi ranked sixth, accounting for 2.11%.
