A 5.3-magnitude earthquake has occurred in the northern region of Peru.
The Geophysical Institute of Peru reported that at 10:06 am local time on August 20, a 5.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Loreto region in northern Peru. The epicenter was located 103 kilometers south of Pastaza in the Datem del Maran province, with a depth of 103 kilometers. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage.
