On August 19 local time, the US Department of Commerce announced that 407 product categories will be included in the steel and aluminum tariff list, with a tariff rate of 50%. The Department of Commerce stated that the new list covers a wide range of products, including wind turbines and their components, mobile cranes, railway vehicles, furniture, compressors and pumps, and hundreds of other products.
