It is expected that the entire Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway will be completed by the end of 2026! There is a new progress in the expansion and renovation project of the Taizhou section in Zhejiang province.

Recently, the key control project of the expansion and renovation project of the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway in the southern section of Taizhou, TJ01, the Ma Zongling Tunnel, has been successfully completed with double-passage, making it the first key control tunnel project to be completed in the southern section of Taizhou. This lays a solid foundation for the full opening of the entire line by the end of 2026. The expansion and renovation project of the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway in the southern section of Taizhou starts from Linhai Nan Interchange and ends at the intersection of the Wuling Tunnel in Wenling City, with a total length of approximately 40.2 kilometers. The entire line follows the current route of the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway, adopting a general plan of widening on both sides to form an eight-lane two-way road, designed with a speed of 100 kilometers per hour, with some sections designed for a speed of 120 kilometers per hour.
