Standard Chartered Bank says it will apply for a stablecoin license in Hong Kong.

Standard Chartered Bank's CEO for Greater China and North Asia, Judy Hsu, stated that the bank is currently studying documents related to stablecoin issuers and will begin planning to submit its application as soon as possible. Hsu also mentioned that Standard Chartered had participated in sandbox testing previously during a press conference on Thursday.
