In the first half of the year, most provinces' foreign trade data showed a clear upward trend. Experts believe that promoting the stable quantity and quality of foreign trade is still the key focus for each province. It is expected that policies to stabilize foreign trade in the second half of the year will be further strengthened, and financing support policies for foreign trade enterprises that have been greatly impacted are expected to be introduced. According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in the first half of the year, the total import and export volume of 18 central and western provinces reached 3.95 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.2%, which was 8.3 percentage points higher than the national average; the proportion increased by 1.3 percentage points, reaching 18.1%.
