After two Federal Reserve Board members disagreed with the decision to keep interest rates unchanged, US Treasury Secretary Scott Benet expressed that the Federal Reserve "seems to be cracking." Benet implied in an interview that the two candidates nominated by Trump would help the central bank move towards lowering interest rates after joining the Federal Reserve next year.
