The National Disaster Reduction and Relief Commission has raised the national emergency response level to level 3 in response to Hebei Province.
In response to the severe rainstorm and flooding disasters in Beijing's Miyun and Hebei's Chengde, the National Committee for Disaster Reduction and Relief has raised the national emergency response level to Level Three for Hebei on July 31st, based on the previous activation of Level Three response for Beijing. A working group composed of relevant departments has been dispatched to the affected areas to guide disaster relief work, assess the situation, comfort the affected population, and ensure the basic living needs of the affected people are met.
