Beijing's Huairou issues a red alert for mountain flood disasters.

According to the mountain and water of Huairou, at 18:00 on July 31, 2025, the Huairou District Water Resources Bureau and the District Meteorological Bureau continue to issue a red alert for mountain flood risks jointly: considering the uncertainty of precipitation, and considering the extremely high saturation of mountain soil in our region, the risk of mountain flood disasters is still very high. Now a red alert for mountain flood risks is continued to be issued throughout the district. The public is advised to stay away from mountain flood channels, suspend outdoor activities involving mountains and rivers, closely monitor changes in water levels in mountain channels, and prevent mountain flood disasters.
