Foshan town carries out free nucleic acid screening for P. Kongkenya fever virus. Community doctors: mainly targeting people living with or relatives of cases.
From several residents in Lecong Town, Shunde District, Foshan City, it was learned that they recently received a notice from the local government about the free Kaposi Kenyan fever virus nucleic acid screening work, which will take place from July 29th to July 31st, lasting for three days. Today is the last day of the notice. A community doctor stationed in a convenience clinic in Lecong Town introduced that the disease control department has conducted nucleic acid testing on cases' cohabitants or family members through text messages or community notifications in recent days. As it has not spread to neighboring areas, those without symptoms or notifications temporarily do not need to be tested. "If you have symptoms, you can come to the clinic or go to the hospital for testing and treatment at any time."
