At 14:00 today, the flood peak of the Chaobai River reached the Liziguchu Reservoir in Tianjin. The person in charge introduced that currently, all 18 gates of the Liziguchu Reservoir have been opened to ensure the safety of flood discharge in the Chaobai River. The flood control departments at all levels in Tianjin are also monitoring the water level of the floodwaters in real time and strengthening inspections of the embankments on both sides of the river. At the same time, the relevant departments remind the public that due to the discharge of floodwaters from upstream, the amount of floodwater in the river is large and the water level changes rapidly. Citizens should not approach the river, dangerous slopes, and should stay away from areas near the river embankment roads to avoid danger.
