Hong Kong has approved 330,000 applications for the Talent Admission Scheme and is currently persuading top talents to come to Hong Kong for development.

The Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region held a pre-hall exchange meeting today to discuss topics on attracting talent and building an international education hub. Secretary for the Civil Service, Patrick Nip, stated that from the end of 2022 to the end of last month, approximately 330,000 applications for talent immigration plans were approved, far exceeding the original goal of attracting 105,000 talents in three years. The relevant committees are actively lobbying top talents to come to Hong Kong through the establishment of proactive invitation arrangements.
