Market supervision administration: The number of cases of concentration of operators approved in the first half of the year increased by 14.1% year-on-year.

According to the State Administration of Market Regulation, in the first half of the year, a total of 339 cases of operator concentration were concluded, an increase of 14.1% year-on-year. Domestic enterprises were active in mergers and acquisitions, with the manufacturing industry in sectors such as automobiles and chemical raw materials showing impressive performance in merger transactions. In terms of transaction amounts, the total transaction amount of operator concentration cases exceeded 1.3 trillion yuan, with 106 cases of transactions between 1 billion and 10 billion yuan, accounting for approximately 32%; 86 cases of transactions between 10 billion and 100 billion yuan, accounting for approximately 26%; and 31 cases of transactions of 100 billion yuan and above, with the largest single transaction amount being 123 billion yuan.
