This morning, the Ministry of Water Resources held a consultation to assess the national rainfall situation. From 8:00 on July 26 to 8:00 on July 27, due to the influence of rainfall, 16 rivers in Beijing, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Gansu, Fujian, Yunnan, and other regions experienced flooding exceeding the warning level, with the largest exceeding the warning level by 3.48 meters. Among them, in Hebei, the Chaobai River and its tributaries Chaohedou, the main stream and tributaries of the Luan River, Beijing's Miyun Chaobai River tributary Baihe River, Inner Mongolia's Xilin Gol Luan River tributary Shandian River, and Shanxi's Datong Yongding River tributary Nanyang River all experienced the largest floods since actual records were kept. Miyun Reservoir in Beijing saw the largest inflow since it was built in 1959. Due to high temperatures and melting snow, the flow at the 48th Division Ferry in the Yarkand River in Xinjiang exceeded the safety level. Currently, the Ministry of Water Resources is maintaining a level IV emergency response to flooding in six provinces and regions: Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Shaanxi.
