China Tobacco Hong Kong: Exclusive cigarette export business unaffected by relevant draft regulations.

China Tobacco Hong Kong Stock Exchange Announcement, the company has noticed that the State Tobacco Monopoly Bureau issued the "Management Measures for Tobacco Products in Domestic Duty-Free Markets" on July 25, 2025. According to the company's preliminary understanding, the only enterprise with the qualification for state-owned tobacco import and export trade is China Tobacco International Limited, based on the draft regulations and current Chinese laws and regulations. Currently, the company purchases cigarettes from China Tobacco Corporation and exclusively sells them to duty-free markets in Thailand, Singapore, China Hong Kong, Macao, and domestic duty-free markets in China. In 2024, approximately 10% of the group's revenue came from domestic duty-free cigarette business in China. The draft regulations will not affect the company's exclusive cigarette export business outside of China's domestic duty-free cigarette business.
