National Bureau of Statistics: The decrease in profits of industrial enterprises above a certain scale narrowed in June.

In June, the year-on-year decrease in profits of industrial enterprises above designated size narrowed compared to May. The new momentum industries, represented by the equipment manufacturing industry, saw faster profit growth, showing the following characteristics of enterprise efficiency: operating income maintained growth, and the decline in profits narrowed. The revenue and profits of the equipment manufacturing industry grew rapidly, with outstanding support. Among them, the automobile industry saw a 96.8% profit growth driven by sales promotion by car companies, rapid growth in sales volume, and the growth of investment income of key enterprises. Manufacturing is advancing towards high-end, intelligent, and green development. Profits of industries such as lithium-ion battery manufacturing, biomass energy generation, and environmental monitoring instrument manufacturing grew by 72.8%, 24.5%, and 22.2% respectively. The continued effects of the "two news" policy are driving growth. In June, profits of industries such as smart unmanned aerial vehicle manufacturing, computer assembly manufacturing, household air conditioner manufacturing, and household ventilation appliance manufacturing grew by 160.0%, 97.2%, 21.0%, and 9.7% respectively.
