The scale of the Beidou industry in Wuhan will exceed 80 billion yuan.

The Wuhan Breakthrough Development Beidou Industry Promotion Meeting held on July 24 revealed that in the first half of this year, the scale of Wuhan's Beidou industry was about 33.9 billion yuan, and is expected to exceed 80 billion yuan for the whole year. The meeting reported that Wuhan is focusing on the construction goals of the national Beidou scale application pilot cities, focusing on areas such as mass consumption, industrial manufacturing, and integrated innovation, coordinating the advancement of industry agglomeration, innovation drive, scenario applications, and achieving positive results. By successfully introducing over a hundred industry-leading enterprises such as Huawei Hongmeng, China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, and Spaceflight Horizon, it effectively promoted the development of strategic emerging industry clusters such as geospatial information services, "Beidou+" applications, artificial intelligence, and new generation information technology. Leveraging the resource advantages of the Aerospace Science and Technology Group, it focuses on promoting core businesses such as carrier rocket development, satellite manufacturing, and launch services, and simultaneously introduces supporting industrial projects such as new material research and development, high-end equipment manufacturing. With leading companies such as Geo-Time Space, YiXun Beidou, and Dream Chip Technology as the core, it continues to strengthen the R&D capabilities of the entire industry chain including chip design, board manufacturing, terminal devices, and achieve breakthroughs in innovative applications in key areas such as intelligent connected vehicles and smart city construction.
