Shanghai Jiao Tong University announces the release of AI Future Fund.

Yesterday was the opening day of the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Shanghai Jiao Tong University, together with the Xuhui District People's Government, hosted the themed forum "Future Development of AI: Super Intelligence, Boundaryless Collaboration". They announced several major AI research achievements from the university, as well as the AI Future Fund, aiming to attract young talent in the field of artificial intelligence from around the world. The AI Future Fund was initiated by the School of Artificial Intelligence at the university, with the support of outstanding alumni both domestically and overseas. The fund is divided into two parts: the Research Seed Plan and the Innovation Seed Plan. The Research Seed Plan mainly targets young scientists in the School, providing continuous income subsidies and support for the formation of research teams. The Innovation Seed Plan is aimed at entrepreneurial students and staff across the university, aiming to solidify the foundation of innovation, entrepreneurship, and results transformation through angel investments.
