The first international transit zone of a national seaport has been put into operation.

In order to further expand the opening-up of port and shipping businesses to the outside world, and improve the transit experience of foreign passengers, after a series of renovation, construction, and acceptance work, on July 26th, the Shenzhen Shekou Cruise Homeport officially opened the nation's first International Transit Zone. With the opening of the International Transit Zone, the efficiency of foreign passengers transiting through Shenzhen will be significantly improved, especially for those without visas. It is expected that the clearance distance will be halved and the clearance time reduced by 80%.
